Got Questions? We've Got Answers
Here are the questions parents ask us most. If yours isn’t here, just reach out — we’re easy to get in touch with.
How do tryouts work?
We hold tryouts for each age group at the start of each season. Athletes go through skill evaluations, competitive drills, and scrimmages. We look at effort, coachability, and skill — not just who stands out on day one. Contact us to find out when the next tryout is scheduled.
What areas do you serve?
Our home courts are in Boerne, TX. We have athletes from across the Greater San Antonio area.
How do skill training sessions work?
Sessions are structured, position-specific, and small-group or individual depending on availability. Each session has a defined focus area — shooting, ball handling, footwork, and more. Sessions are scheduled in blocks; contact us to see what’s currently available.
What's the commitment level for club?
Club basketball is a serious program. It involves regular practices, tournament travel, and team expectations around effort and attendance. We’ll walk you through the full commitment before you sign up so there are no surprises.
Is skill training only for Sonics players?
No. Our training sessions are open to any serious athlete — you don’t have to be on a Sonics club team to train with us. We welcome players from all schools and programs.
How much does it cost?
Pricing varies by program and season. We don’t list a flat rate because costs depend on your athlete’s team, session package, and schedule. Contact us and we’ll give you a full breakdown — no pressure, no hidden fees.
How do you communicate with families?
We send schedule updates, tournament info, and program changes through a group channel or team communication system. Coach Adam is also reachable directly. We believe parents shouldn’t be left guessing — clear communication is a program standard.
